About the qualification
This level 3 award in installation of access control and door entry systems is a customised qualification accredited by NCFE UK. This qualification is benchmarked against the NVQ level 3 standard. What is a level 3 qualification?
In the UK, most qualifications are taken through work, school, college or university, and fit into one of nine levels (12 in Scotland). The higher the level, the harder the qualification. The levels are based on the standards of knowledge, skill and competence needed for each qualification. A level 3 qualification is of a similar level to an A-Level, although it differs by having a framework which is specific to a particular industry and role.
